Support that respects how your mind works
Therapy should not be about changing who you are or teaching you to appear more “typical.” My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and neurodiversity-affirming. Together, we work to better understand your experiences, identify your strengths and needs, and develop practical strategies that support a life that feels more authentic and manageable.
I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and life concerns. My work is strength-based and individualized rather than built around a one-size-fits-all model.
Areas We May Work On
Therapy may be helpful when you are navigating:
- Anxiety, worry, or overwhelm
- Depression or low mood
- ADHD-related challenges
- Autism-related stress and support needs
- Executive-functioning difficulties
- Emotional regulation
- Neurodivergent burnout or masking
- School or workplace stress
- Relationships and communication
- Self-esteem and identity
- Major life transitions
- Stress associated with feeling misunderstood or different
What Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy Means
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy recognizes that differences in attention, communication, sensory processing, executive functioning, learning, and social interaction are part of human neurological diversity.
That does not mean ignoring genuine difficulties. Instead, we can address challenges without treating your neurotype or identity as something that needs to be eliminated.
Our work may include identifying supportive accommodations, reducing unnecessary demands, developing coping and regulation strategies, strengthening communication, understanding patterns of overwhelm, and building on the strengths you already possess.
My approach is collaborative, strength-based, trauma-informed, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ affirming.
